Description

The active ingredient of Zoladex 10.8 mg injection is Goserelin. This compound is a synthetic decapeptide analog of LHRH. It tends to act as a potent inhibitor of pituitary gonadotropin secretion when given in a biodegradable formulation. The result of the same is sustained suppression of LH and serum testosterone levels. The pharmacology of Goserelin has been determined in (both men and women) healthy individuals and patients.
