Description
Pertuzumab functions by interfering with the HER-2 (human epidermal growth factor receptor-2) which is a tyrosine kinase receptor and is involved in the proliferation and differentiation of cells. Blocking HER-2 stops several pathways that may be necessary for the growth of cancerous cells and also it induces cell death of the abnormal cells. In addition, Pertuzumab 420mg capsule is also responsible for cytotoxicity.
