Velakast Tablet is a combination of Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir, used to treat chronic (long-lasting) Hepatitis C Virus in adults. It slows the multiplication process of the virus and helps the immune system fight against the infection. Velakast is a fixed-dose tablet for oral administration. It is advised to take the dose every day at the same time. It may help your liver to recover.

If you miss a dose of Velakast tablets, take it as soon as you remember. If it is already the time for the next dose, do not take 2 doses. Do not double the doses to catch up.
Velakast is a combination of Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir, used to treat chronic (long-lasting) Hepatitis C Virus in adults.
Take Velakast exactly as your healthcare provider tells you. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. Swallow it as a whole.
There can be side effects such as nausea, vomiting, insomnia, fatigue, urine infection, dark-colored urine, headache, and diarrhea. Please consult your healthcare provider if you experience these or any other side effects.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not take the missed dose if it is already the time for the next dose.
Your healthcare provider can make this clear if Velakast is safe for consumption during breastfeeding or not.
