Hepatitis C

Velakast Tablet is a combination of Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir, used to treat chronic (long-lasting) Hepatitis C Virus in adults. It slows the multiplication process of the virus and helps the immune system fight against the infection. Velakast is a fixed-dose tablet for oral administration. It is advised to take the dose every day at the same time. It may help your liver to recover.

Do not take Velakast tablets without a doctor's consultation in case of kidney problems.

Missed Doses

  • ​ If you miss a dose of Velakast tablets , take it as soon as you remember.
  • If it is already the time for the next dose, do not take 2 doses.
  • Do not double the doses to catch up. ​
