  • Soranib 200 mg is a cancer medicine that contains Sorafenib, designed to help slow the growth and spread of certain advanced cancers.
  • Doctors often prescribe it for liver cancer that can’t be removed surgically, advanced kidney cancer, and thyroid cancers that no longer respond to radioactive iodine treatment.
  • Sorafenib works by blocking signals that tumors use to grow and form new blood vessels.
  • The usual dose is two tablets twice a day, taken on an empty stomach or with a light, low‑fat meal. 
  • The side effects of taking the Soranib include fatigue, diarrhea, nausea, skin rash, hair loss, or skin changes on the hands and feet.
  • It can lead to other complications, including hypertension, bleeding problems, and allergic skin reactions; constant supervision is required during the course of its usage.

Side Effects

  • High blood pressure
  • Increased risk of bleeding (blood in urine, stool, vomit, or cough)
  • Liver problems
  • Delayed or impaired wound healing

How To Use

  • Take Soranib 200 mg, which is usually administered twice daily or as directed by the physician. Soranib should be taken intact along with a glass of water on an empty stomach, one hour before or two hours after food.
  • In order to maximize the effects of this tablet, it is necessary that you strictly follow the instructions of the doctor and never change the dosage on your own.
  • If you find that you are feeling fine even with the intake of the Sorafenib, continue with the treatment as per the doctor's instructions.

Alcohol

Avoid the consumption of alcohol while taking Soranib 200mg Tablet, as alcohol can reduce the effectiveness of the medicine and worsen the symptoms

Pregnancy

Do not take Soranib 200mg Tablet without consulting the doctor in case of pregnancy, as it is an unsafe medicine during this period.

Breast Feeding

Soranib 200mg Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding as it may cause toxicity to the baby.

Driving
