Bendamustine 100mg injection is used in the treatment of non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. This medicine belongs to a group of cancer-fighting medications known as alkylating agents.

It works by killing cancerous cells and slowing down their growth. It is important to take a Leuben injection as prescribed by your doctor. Close monitoring of blood cell counts is required while having treatment with this medicine. 

Description

​ Bendamustine is a bifunctional mechlorethamine derivative. Mechlorethamine and its derivatives form electrophilic alkyl groups.

These groups form covalent bonds with electron-rich nucleophilic moieties, resulting in interstrand DNA crosslinks. The bifunctional covalent linkage can lead to cell death via several pathways. ​ ​

How To Use

  • Leuben 100mg is available in injection form and is advised to be taken as per the doctor's prescription. It can be given into a vein (intravenously) into a muscle (intramuscularly) by a doctor or nurse under strict medical supervision.

  • Carboplatin causes the DNA strands to cross-link, that stops the cells from dividing and ultimately leads to their death. As it can cause some adverse impact on the body because it affects both healthy & cancerous cells.
